And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
When God made man, He made them in His image and after His likeness. He then conferred the blessing upon mankind (them: male and female). The blessing was meant to be responsible for man’s fruitfulness, multiplication, replenishing the earth, subduing it and exercising dominion over all the earth. The first man, Adam, being the generic head of mankind, was meant to extend this blessing to the rest of the entire human race, but he fell by transgression. Adam, as the federal head of humanity, forfeited the privilege of carrying the blessing that God commanded upon man and he was evicted from the Garden of Eden. God then looked for another man to do what Adam had failed to do, and He found Abraham. God found Abraham, a man of faith, who believed God absolutely. God then commanded the same blessing upon Abraham on the ground of faith as Scripture reveals in Genesis 15:6 “And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.” So, the blessing of righteousness was conferred on Abraham to be fruitful, to multiply, to replenish the earth, to subdue it, and to have dominion over all the earth. Therefore, the blessing of Abraham is the blessing of righteousness, which is justification by faith.
The Bible says in Galatians 3:29, “And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” God made wonderful promises to Abraham in Genesis 12:1-3, and if you analyze those promises and compare them with the blessing that God conferred on Adam (mankind) in Genesis 1:28, every word reflects the reality of God’s promises made to Abraham. So, the blessing that Adam couldn’t carry because of transgression, God has conferred the same blessing on Abraham. If you are born-again, if you are a child of God, you are Christ’s; therefore, you are the seed of Abraham, and the blessing of Abraham is upon you in Christ. It is known as the commanded blessing. This is what brings about fruitfulness. Now that you are in Christ; now that you are born again, the blessing of the Lord is upon you to prosper you and make you fruitful in everything that you do. You have been justified from lack, barrenness, sicknesses and diseases, and every consequence of Adam’s sin. You are the seed of Abraham and you are blessed. I prophesy that the blessing of the Lord is upon you and it is finding unhindered expression through you in Jesus’ Name.
MY SOLID FRONT (Your Confession)
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I declare that I am the seed of Abraham and that I am blessed. I am a believer in Jesus Christ; therefore, I have been justified from Adam’s sin and mine and the consequences thereof.
