When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him.
7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
A moment of favour is better than a lifetime of labour. There are doors in life that, regardless of how hardworking you are, are closed to human efforts and labour. Yes, it is good and important to be hardworking; however, there are certain things that hard work cannot give you. There are things that hard work will give you; however, there are things that hard work cannot give you, no matter how hardworking you are, or may become. You may labour again and again and do everything you can but there are realms you can never enter into by hard work because they only respond to the favour of God. There are doors into realms that have been shut on hard work; but when favour comes, they open up. In Psalm 44:3, the Word tells us that Israel did not get the land of Canaan by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them, but God’s right hand, and His arm, and the light of His countenance, because God had favour on them. In fact, the nations that they had to fight against were way stronger than they. They couldn’t match their strength and experience in war. But by the favour of the Lord they possessed the land of Canaan. Favour opened the door to their inheritance that effort and strength could not. That’s the excellency of God’s favour.
Beloved, there is something about God’s favour that opens doors without you knocking. There is an automatic relay system in favour that makes doors open to you of their own accord. When you show up, people begin to rally around you with unthinkable dimensions of support. That’s the favour of God. Listen, that’s the dimension of favour that’s at work in your life henceforth in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ! Believe it. Receive it and put it in your mouth that you are highly favoured of God, and doors of opportunity open to you. Hallelujah!!!
My Solid Front (Confession):
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that the automatic relay system of God’s favour is at work in my life; doors open to me of their own accord. I do not struggle to have doors of opportunity open to me in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
