While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
There is immeasurable power in a seed. A seed is the smallest form of existence; smallest form of life, smallest form of everything. You can shrink everything into a seed; and take everything out of a seed. God began creation with a seed – the seed of His Word. By reason and example of creation, God inaugurated the seed principle. The seed principle is a powerful principle. When you understand how it works, you can bring out everything you need from the seed that God has given you. The seed principle is God’s wisdom of summary and articulation. Aptly and succinctly, God has summarized everything in the seed. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God; and all things were made by Him, and there was nothing made without Him (John 1:1-3). Again, the Bible says, and the seed is the Word of God (Luke 8:11). Everything is concealed in a seed and revealed in due time by the principle of seedtime and harvest.
Now, understand that the almighty seed is the Word of God. Therefore, anything thought up, spoken, or done by inspiration or revelation of the Word is a seed. Every seed framed from the almighty seed of the Word has the capacity to produce as the Word. Thoughts, words, and actions consistent with and originating from the Word of God have the potency to produce after the Word. So, there is the seed of the Word, and there are seeds of the Word-kind. For example, the Word tells us to be benevolent and generous to people (Galatians 6:9-10); so, when we receive the light of the Word and act in faith, we reap a harvest of what the Word says we shall reap. Did you understand that? Words, thoughts and actions of generosity according to the Word are seeds. When we sow them in faith, there must be a harvest of that kind. Hallelujah! This is the principle behind seedtime and harvest. Listen, it does not matter how small a thought, a word, or an action is, if it is inspired by and consistent with the Word of God, it has a great future. It has capacity to produce a massive harvest. Today’s opening Scripture tells us that seedtime doesn’t go alone. It’s always seedtime and harvest. The seed is the smallest form of the harvest that you require, which means that every expectation is the harvest of a particular seed. Now, you can only get that expectation fulfilled when you find the seed required to birth it.
My Solid Front (Confession):
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that my perception is enhanced by the Holy Spirit. I recognize my seeds and I sow them at the right time. And I declare that by the wisdom of God, I reap my harvest abundantly. Amen!
