That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
The opening Scripture tells us that confessing with the mouth the Lordship of Jesus and believing with the heart the resurrection of Jesus Christ results in salvation. The apostle Paul referred to this way of getting saved as the Word of faith. The content of the Word of faith, therefore, is the Lordship of Jesus Christ over everything and His resurrection from the dead. The organs required in engaging the Word of faith are your mouth (the physical mouth) and your heart, (the core of your being, your spirit, not the organ that pumps blood). With your mouth, you confess the Lordship of Jesus. Acts 2:36 says “Therefore, let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.” Jesus is Lord; He is sovereign and as such, He rules over everything. Nothing is beyond the Lordship of Jesus; the whole universe is under the sway of His Lordship. So, if anything goes wrong in your life or is misaligned, the first thing a “Word of faith believer” does is to declare the Lordship of Jesus over that thing in faith, knowing that Jesus Christ has been raised from the dead to give him victory. You have the victory in union with Christ Jesus.
You cannot declare the Word of faith with your mouth closed. You have to say something with your mouth opened, that means you are saying what both you and people around you can hear, something audible. Jesus spoke out loud to the fig tree, no man eat fruit of you again; and His disciples heard Him. The Word of faith is declared out loud boldly. There is no hopeless situation to the believer, for all things are possible to him that believes. What you are saying is that Jesus Christ is Lord over that situation. It does not matter how long it’s been out of place or misaligned for, Jesus is Lord over that thing. So, what are you confessing with your mouth? The Lordship of Jesus over your life, your career, your business, your marriage, your family, your ministry, your academics, your destiny, and everything pertaining to you! No matter the situation, you boldly declare that Jesus is Lord over you and yours. That bold declaration brings about the manifestation of salvation in your case. Hallelujah! Make that bold declaration of faith today and see your words leap into being.
SOLID FRONT (YOUR CONFESSION):
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I make bold to declare that I have what I say, therefore, I declare the word of faith boldly over me and mine. I declare that Jesus is Lord over me and mine! Hallelujah! Amen!
