That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
Death is the most hopeless situation under heaven. Nothing can be more hopeless than death. Before Jesus came, death (spiritual) was the final verdict on man’s life and destiny on this side of the divide; it was the last bus stop. But glory to God, Jesus died and rose again. Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father. With Jesus’ resurrection from death, an end came to the hopelessness that death brought. That means with faith in Jesus Christ, there is no hopeless situation anymore. When it comes to the man or woman of faith, there is no hopeless situation. Therefore, as you confess the Lordship of Jesus, you must also believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead. Faith in Jesus Christ lifts the verdict of death on every one that believes in Him. Death for the Christian is a glorious exit from this world into the world of glory beyond; it is not a forceful exit of pain and terror. Hallelujah! For someone believing God for a miracle concerning health-related issues, the doctors may say “this case is impossible” but there is no hopeless situation anymore if the believer will believe that Jesus Christ has been raised from the dead and has given him victory over that situation. When you do that, salvation (healing) is the result.
As you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord over that need or situation, whatever Jesus Christ is Lord over, in His name, in oneness with Him, you are lord over that same thing. You might as well say “in the Name of Jesus Christ, I am lord over this sickness, over this ugly situation.” Why? When Jesus was raised from the dead, He was declared both Christ and Lord over the whole universe (Acts 2:36); and when He was raised from the dead, we were raised together with Him (Ephesians 2:5-6). The Lord Jesus has been made Head over all things for the benefit of the Church, the saints of God so that in His Name we might rule over the whole universe! Hallelujah! That power that God exercised when He raised Christ from the dead was meant to raise us up from spiritual death, but He couldn’t do it for us without Christ because He was our substitute, and He took our place. Now we reign with Christ in His Name! Christ’s authority is your authority; therefore, you can command like God does and get awesome results in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ. Today, refuse whatever is not of God that is hanging around you. Declare the Lordship of Jesus over it and it will give way to the power of resurrection in no time!
MY SOLID FRONT (YOUR CONFESSION)
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I declare that I reign with Christ in His awesome majesty and sovereignty. I exercise Throne Authority over every situation of life in oneness with Christ, in His blessed Name!
