4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
Healing and health are provisions available to the believer for the taking based on the finished works of Christ. As a believer, you must understand that healing is yours; it is your inheritance in Christ. Therefore, you need not be sick; it is needless to be sick. Our opening Scripture shows us the finished works of Christ, which is that Jesus Christ as our Substitute has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows, that is, our sicknesses and diseases. It further tells us that Jesus Christ was wounded for our transgressions and was bruised for our iniquities; and that the chastisement or punishment needed to give us peace was laid upon Him, and with His stripes, those that wounded Him, we are healed. So, the provision has been made. What then is your responsibility in this? Be outgoing, be forward, be enthusiastic with your faith. Take what the Lord has done for you. Receive what the Lord has given you. If you are in faith for healing, say out loud, “I receive my healing right now”. Be outgoing. When it comes to faith, everyone can be outgoing. Don’t be passive and laid back with your faith life. Take what rightfully belongs to you! Say “I’m healed in the Name of Jesus; for by the stripes of Jesus I am healed.” The moment you say that, the power of God goes into action and it moves to make your body whole. That’s faith!
Beloved, are you in faith for increase? 2 Corinthians 9:8 says, “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.” God is able to make all grace abound towards you. Do you know what it means for something to abound? To abound simply means to surpass measure. “Bound” means boundary or measure. “A-bound” means without or beyond boundary or measure. To abound simply means overwhelming increase. 2 Corinthians 9:8 reveals that God is able to make all grace abound toward you! So, why settle for less? There is the abounding dimension of life, ever-increasing, ever glorious, from glory to glory to glory, such that people will not be able to describe your increase with any model; you are just abounding from glory to glory. Now expand the scope of your mind regarding increase and abundance. Refuse to dwell in the zone of mediocrity. Lift your hands and say, “Father, thank You because my status is changed forever. I move up, I make progress. It’s a new beginning for me.” Open your mouth and receive it now in Jesus’ Name.
SOLID FRONT (YOUR CONFESSION):
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I declare that my faith is active and potent. I am outgoing about my faith. I am a doer of the Word. In the Name of Jesus, I receive everything God has for me! Amen!
