13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
The Bible is not a book of history; it is the Word of God. As a beloved child of God, you must treasure every word that is written in the Word concerning you. You have to learn to take the Word at face value and when you receive a Word from God, you ought to say, “that’s me, that’s mine, that’s my word”. If God says to you from His Word that you are blessed, believe it and receive it as though your life depends on it, because of a truth, your life depends on the Word. Matthew 4:4 tells us, “…It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” We live by the Word. Our opening verse tells us that God has delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son, Jesus Christ. Therefore, if you cannot deny the fact that you are in God’s kingdom, then you cannot deny the fact that you have been delivered from the power of darkness, because God had to deliver us from the power or authority of darkness before He translated us into Christ’s kingdom. See, beloved, you cannot be in God’s kingdom having not been delivered from the authority of darkness, or how did you get there in the first place? If you are in God’s kingdom and you are a child of God, and you are born again, and Jesus is the Lord of your life, then you can’t have two lords. Since Jesus is your Lord, you are no longer under the lordship of the devil; he cannot terrify you. You are free from Satan’s control.
The man who is born again and still experiences oppression of the devil has believed a lie. Going by God’s Word, we are masters of Satan and all his cohorts in the Name of Jesus. By reason of redemption, we are over and above devils. We have every right in Christ to cast out devils. You are seated with Christ now, far above principalities and powers, not in the same league or on the same level of operation with the devil. You are far above him; he is far below you. So, stop magnifying the devil; stop talking about him like he is almighty, because he is not. Understand this truth, that the power to kill, harm or terrorize God’s children has been taken away from the devil. Jesus took that power or authority from him. Hallelujah! In Christ Jesus, you have security. There is no need to fear the one that had the power of death; he once had it, now it is past tense, he no longer has it. You now reign with the Prince of Life Himself, Jesus Christ, who has conquered all for you. This is worth rejoicing about. Hallelujah!
MY SOLID FRONT (YOUR CONFESSION):
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I recognize that God has delivered me from Satan’s control; therefore, I am above the devil and all his cohorts. I am not afraid of demons. I reign with the Lord Jesus Christ forever. Amen!
