3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
Health is your heritage in Christ. When Jesus died, the same price He paid for your salvation was also paid for your healing. Our opening Scripture reveals that Jesus was wounded for our transgression and was bruised for our iniquities. Jesus wasn’t punished for His own sins. Scripture records that throughout His time on earth, He was without sin. Hebrews 4:15 says “For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.” So, Jesus was not punished for His own sins but for ours. Isaiah 53:4 says, “Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.” The Amplified version says “Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment] …” Jesus has borne our sins, the same offer or offering for sin was made not just for sin but for our healing and prosperity also. Therefore, affliction against your health ought not rise again. Refuse to put up with sicknesses and diseases! Stand your ground and say, “I reject sicknesses and diseases; for they are not mine. Don’t accept a condition as ‘it runs in our family (natural)’. Family (natural) sicknesses are a curse, not a blessing. Now, you are in Christ, you belong to the Family of God and in this family, there is no sickness. Wrap your arms around yourself and say, ‘in Christ, I am blessed, blessed to live in health’.
Faith begins where the will of God is known. If you don’t know the will of God concerning your health, it is going to be very difficult to believe God for a healthy life. John 8:32 says “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” When you know the truth, you can reject sickness and say, “In the Name of Jesus, I refuse sickness.” You have to appropriate what Christ has done for you to see it manifest physically. Understand that constitutional provisions don’t appropriate themselves just because they are in the constitution. There must be the ruling of the Judge in line with the constitution to enforce the provisions of that constitution in order that they may take effect. You have to learn to appropriate the provisions of the constitution and that’s why we pray. If it is in God’s Word, it will not just happen, except you pray and believe it. God has blessed you to live in health, don’t put up with sickness. Choose health! Confess it out loud that you are healed and that you live in health!
MY SOLID FRONT (YOUR CONFESSION):
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I am healed, and I live in health. I declare that by the stripes that wounded Jesus, I am healed!
