6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
The Word tells us very unambiguously in the opening verse that God gives more grace. So, grace can increase and abound. There is room in Christ to abound in grace. In God, there are realms, there are dimensions and there are levels. That is why it does not matter the level you are now, you can go higher, and you can increase in grace. The next level after the salvation level of the experience of grace is the level called “more.” James 4:6 says God gives more grace. God is the God of all grace (1 Peter 5:10), and His Spirit is the Spirit of grace (Hebrews 10:29). The same Spirit of grace is the Spirit of the God of all grace, and He gives more grace. Romans 6:1 says shall we continue in sin that grace may abound, which means that grace can abound. Whatever level of grace you are at now, understand that you can walk in higher dimensions of grace. There are certain exploits that can only be possible at a particular level of grace. There are dimensions of grace that command certain levels of manifestation, and until you move up to such levels, you will not see certain manifestations.
At this point, it is appropriate to ask this question: To whom does God give more grace? The opening verse tells us that He gives more grace to the humble but resists the proud. Who is the humble? The one who knows that he is not sufficient in himself, but that his sufficiency is of God. The humble is the one who trusts in the Lord absolutely; the one who has ceased from his own struggle, he is resting in the Lord. The humble no longer has confidence in the flesh; he has realized that God is Almighty, and that he is only strong in His almightiness. The more you learn to trust in God, the more you are carried by His grace. When you are weak, then you are strong; for His grace is made perfect in your weakness. So, the humble prays fervently and consistently; he does not rely on the arm of flesh. Beloved, God wants you to move to a higher level of grace. Do not be satisfied with that current level you are operating at, be desirous for more. Faith, absolute trust in God, is your gateway into limitless dimensions of grace.
My Solid Front (Confession):
I declare that I am never complacent; I am desirous for more of God’s grace; I am moving to a higher level of grace In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
