1 And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the Lord had blessed Abraham in all things.
4 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.
5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.
6 And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.
7 And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.
Our opening Scripture tells us that Father Abraham was old, and well advanced in age, and the Lord had blessed him in all things. That is very much like what God has planned out for you, to have a blessed life just like Abraham. God wants you to grow old, not die young, and well advanced in age, not come short in age, and to be blessed in all things, not blessed in some or few things. Think about that. Give some serious thoughts to God’s plan for you as it was with Abraham. Meditate on the picture of God’s dream for you. Let Abraham be the frame of that picture. Do not think outside of Abraham’s frame of God’s picture for your life. Father Abraham is a template of God’s dream and will for your life. Isaiah 51:1-2 admonishes everyone seeking the Lord and following the righteousness of faith, to look to Abraham. Abraham is the frame of God’s dream picture of your future. You now have a template to pattern your life after. You now can say, as it was with Abraham, so it is with me. You have graceful longevity before you for the taking. You now can believe for all-round blessings, like Abraham your father. You now have a colourful picture of life and destiny before you with Abraham’s life and walk with God being the colour and frame of it. Hallelujah!
Galatians 3:29 tells us that every one that is born again, that is Christ’s, is Abraham’s seed, and an heir according to the promise God made to Abraham. Abraham did not die young. So, stop thinking death at a tender age. You are the seed of Abraham. Refuse every thought of dying young. You will grow old, and be well advanced in age, like Father Abraham. Say Amen to it!!! Keep that picture before you, don’t let the devil steal it from you. Again, God blessed Abraham in all things, not in some things. Quit seeing yourself blessed in some things, and lacking in others, no! That’s not God’s dream picture for you. God wants you, blessed all-rounder. A good spouse, a good job, good children, a good family, a good marriage, a good house, a good business, a set of good degrees or certifications, a good ministry, a good career, good health, good relationships with people, everything good, and ultimately and primarily, a good relationship with God. That’s what your life ought to be like. Believe God’s dream for you NOW!
My Solid Front (Confession):
In Jesus’ Name, I declare that I am made in the image of God; prosperity dignifies God’s image; therefore, I have the mind-set of prosperity. I have more than enough; I am blessed, and I am a blessing. I am the seed of Abraham, and I have and live life like Abraham. Amen.
