But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
Your confession rules you. What you say about yourself becomes your consciousness, defines who you are and governs your life. As believers, we must learn to say what God has said concerning us. We must learn to acknowledge the Word of God, acknowledge what God has done for us in Christ and attest to all that God has made available to us in Christ by our confession of faith. Now when you read the Bible, don’t just nod your head, and say, “wow… what wonderful revelations!” You need to read the Bible and get the Word of God across to your consciousness by saying it to yourself. You must speak what God has said concerning you, make a bold confession about what Jesus has done for you, say what you believe and hold on to it, despite contrary circumstances. What has God said to you? Say it to yourself. When you say God’s Word to yourself, the Word of God goes deep into your inner consciousness and it becomes a part and parcel of your life, and that word starts working in you, ruling your consciousness. In our walk of faith as believers, we must make confessions of faith about what Jesus has done for us, about the life He has called us to live in Him, about who Jesus is to us and about the gift of the Holy Spirit within us. The fight of faith is not a struggle. On your part, it is the confession and acknowledgement of the victory that Christ already wrought for you over the adversary. You must make your confessions boldly; you say what you believe, and you keep saying it, non-stop.
Beloved, don’t let anything in the physical intimidate or stop you from saying what you believe about who you are in Christ, and the victory that Jesus has won for you. The Word is near you, even in your mouth, so say it continually, consistently, until it becomes what rules your consciousness and you will begin to live a life of victory, from glory to glory, from strength to strength. There is power in confessing the Word out loud in faith. The power of God is released as we confess the Word out loud in faith. The awareness of God’s Word comes from what we say to ourselves about what God has said to us. Hebrews 13:5-6 says “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.” Don’t let people say it for you, say the Word for yourself and to yourself. What will build a rich and stable consciousness of victory is your own confession of what Jesus has done for you, and of who God is to you. You speak the Word until the consciousness of the Word rules your mind, then your faith will soar to the level of your confession and marvellous things will begin to happen to you and in your life.
My Solid Front (Confession):
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, in faith, I declare the Word of God continually doubting nothing. I let the Word rule my consciousness as I confess it continually! Amen!
