Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Poverty is not God’s will for you. Jesus Christ died to set you free from poverty. The Word tells us in 2 Corinthians 8:9 that Jesus Christ was rich, but for our sakes, He became poor that we through His poverty might be rich. In the substitutionary work of Jesus Christ, He took our place of poverty that we might take His place of prosperity. So, prosperity is yours in Christ. You ought not to live from hand to mouth. No, a thousand times no! Prosperity is your birthright. You are born to live in prosperity. Prosperity is what Christ died to give you, not poverty. Understand that Christ didn’t only die to set you free from sin, but He also died to give you prosperity. This is the core message of today’s opening verse. The Word tells us that God desires that we prosper and be in health, even as our souls prosper. God delights in your prosperity; He strongly wants you to prosper and enjoy the blessings of all that Jesus Christ His Son died for at Calvary. Beloved, prosperity is God’s will for you.
When a person gets born again, he or she steps out of poverty into prosperity. That is God’s estimation of the man in Christ, just as you step out of the kingdom of darkness into God’s kingdom when you are born again (Colossians 1:13-14). Understand that poverty is synonymous with sin and the kingdom of darkness, not synonymous with God. God is rich and prosperous; the silver and the gold belong to Him – Haggai 2:8-9. So, declare that you are done with poverty and that prosperity is yours in Christ. Do away with words like lack, insufficiency, inadequacy, suffering, etc. from your vocabulary. Refuse to admit and acknowledge lack in your life. God is not poverty-stricken, and He doesn’t produce poverty-stricken children. Believe and confess that you are the seed of Abraham and you are blessed with and in all good things of life – Genesis 24:1. Beloved, the Word is replete with awesome promises of God’s will to prosper you, supply all your needs and make you rich so that you might be a blessing to others. So, renew your mind to God’s will and plan to prosper you. Refuse to settle in with poverty! Prosperity is yours, as Christ has delivered you from poverty and has brought you into prosperity through His free gift of salvation. Hallelujah!!!
MY SOLID FRONT (YOUR CONFESSION)
In the Name of Jesus Christ, I declare that I am the seed of Abraham and that I am blessed and prosperous. Christ has delivered me from poverty into prosperity; therefore, I declare that I am done with poverty forever! I am in Christ and I walk in prosperity all the days of my life!
