Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
Life comes with its own peculiar challenges. The Lord has reassured us that we shall face tribulations in this world, but that we should be of good cheer, for He has overcome the world for us. In essence, victory is ours, no matter what. Come what may, we have the upper hand in the battles of life, for the Lord Jesus has given us the victory through His Substitutionary Work at Calvary. 2 Corinthians 2:14 tells us that God always causes us to triumph in every battle of life, and spreads through us the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. Therefore, in every life’s battle, you must be assured of one thing: Victory is yours in Christ. Who can be against us, if God be for us? God is for us, and victory is ours by reason of what the Lord has done for us at Calvary. Hallelujah!!!
God has made the man in Christ a perpetual and consistent winner. The Word shows us in the opening Scripture that, anyone that is born of God has overcome the world and all its limitations, by faith in God through Jesus Christ. The Word says, “…this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.” In other words, through our faith in Christ, we have victory over everything in the world order and everything orchestrated by Satan. Satan cannot take us for a ride anymore. We have the dominion in Christ. Walking in victory begins when you understand that Christ has given you the victory over situations and circumstances, and over the battles of life. Recognize that no matter what comes your way, you are more than a conqueror through Christ who loved you. That’s very important to note, and that is the foundation of victory over life’s battles. Again, 2 Corinthians 2:14 reminds us that God always causes us to triumph in all things. Note the word ‘always’. Did you notice that He always causes us to triumph in Christ; not sometimes but always. Then He uses the Word, ‘triumph’ which means conquest, unquestionable victory. The enemy is no match at all, we are stronger and more powerful than Satan and his cohorts. Therefore, have a vision of victory that’s of faith, and have an expectation that’s based on the Word. Refuse to let the devil carry the day, he is not meant to. Resist him steadfastly in the faith.
My Solid Front (Confession):
I declare that no matter what comes my way, I am more than a conqueror because Christ has given me an eternal victory. God is for me; therefore, none can be against me. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. Amen.
