13 Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.
12 For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
Our opening Scripture tells us that there is such a time or dispensation or season of favour. It tells us about the set time of favour. When Jesus was born, the angels of God sang the praise of God and greatly rejoiced in His birth and proclaimed “Glory to God in the highest and on earth, peace, goodwill towards men” – Luke 2:14. Goodwill towards everyone in the world speaks of God’s favour towards everyone. Therefore, between the birth of Jesus and the Second Coming of the Lord is the time frame or dispensation of favour towards mankind, favour towards everyone. David, by the Holy Spirit, reveals that it is God arising and showing mercy to Zion, the Church of God, and bringing the Church into the dispensation, the set time of favour. That’s an amazing and profound revelation of God as to His plan for us. Every child of God in Christ has come into the dispensation of God’s favour, and that’s important to know and understand. Hallelujah!!!
There are many of God’s children who do not know that they are in the favour of God already. They think that they are disfavoured because of what they are going through. However, the Word of God tells us that everyone who is in Christ has found Favour with God. It is important that you know where you are now standing in your relationship with God. It is important that you know what you have come into in Christ. You have come into an unending season of favour – a dispensation of unprecedented and immeasurable dimension of favour. Naturally speaking, when it’s rainy season, everyone experiences the rain, and when it’s dry season everyone also experiences it. When it’s winter, everyone experiences the cold, and when it’s summer, everyone experiences it, too. Every child of God has been born into a dispensation of favour – it is the norm now; it’s the force that holds sway today. We have come into favour with God. As a child of God, there is no way you can miss out on God’s favour because you are in that dispensation now. So, don’t insulate yourself from it. There is an envelope, an ambience, of God’s favour around your life. The fragrance of your life is that of a field that the Lord has blessed. Hallelujah! Believe it, receive it, and walk in the light of it. Refuse to doubt that you are blessed. Remember, everything in God’s kingdom works by faith. If you don’t believe that you are highly favoured of the Lord, and you don’t expect to be favoured by men, you will not experience God’s favour. As you walk in the consciousness of God’s favour on you regardless of your experience, the favour of God will be made manifest in your life.
My Solid Front (Confession):
I declare in the Name of Jesus that I am a child born in due season of God’s favour; therefore, favour is always my experience. I refuse to believe anything apart from what God has said of me. Amen.
