23 In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
Talk is cheap. Work is priceless. In every labour or work there is profit, but the talk of the lips tends only to poverty. You may read all the books there are to read, and get all the knowledge there is to get, until you put what you know to work, you will not change your life nor your situation. Change happens when knowledge is translated to action. There is no profit in mere talk without work. There is no profit in procrastination and lazy forecasting. Until you work your God-given dream it will not come to pass. Smart work is what every dream requires for realization. So, wake up and work your dream.
It is good to have ideas, and to document them, but it takes work to make your dream a reality. In other words, you must back up your dream or idea with an action plan; something to do daily, a step to take daily towards the fulfillment of it. You cannot lazy around expecting that the dreams and the ideas and opportunities that God has given to you will happen all by themselves. Things don’t work that way. In Genesis 1, God did not only have an idea to create the earth, He did. He not only spoke words of power to cause a change in the universe, but He also used His hands in working out His will. Genesis 1:3-4 says “And God said, let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.” God spoke light into existence, but He divided the light from the darkness. God spoke with His mouth and worked with His hands. Verses 7 and 8 of Genesis 1 says “And God made the firmament and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.” He separated the water above from the water beneath and created the atmosphere or firmament. He didn’t only use His mind, and His mouth; He also used His hand. That tells us that confession of faith is important and has its place in the fulfillment of God’s purpose for you; but that is not all that is required to fulfill your God-ordained purpose, you need to work. You need to put your hands to work. Whatever His mouth has spoken, His hands can and will perform. That’s the way God operates, and He wants His children to function like Him. He wants us to use our mind to imagine, design and reason, and He wants us to use our hands to work. This is how to bring about the physical manifestation of the ideas He has put in our hearts.
My Solid Front (Confession): In the Name of Jesus Christ, I declare that I am like my Father God; I use my mind to conceive ideas, to plan, and I use my hands to work to bring about the manifestation of my ideas. Amen.
