17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,
26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,
27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.
28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.
29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?
31 And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
32 And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.
33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.
34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.
A strategy is a plan of action intended to accomplish a specific goal. God is a Master Strategist. Creation is proof that He is. Everything God does, He works according to the counsel of His own will. Strategy is involved in succeeding at whatever you do. Faith is not an exception to the rule. There is such a thing as strategic faith. When faith is engaged as a strategic tool in achieving a God-given purpose or goal, it is known as strategic faith. Mostly, people don’t use faith as a strategic instrument of achieving a God-ordained goal. They seem to have made a religion out of faith. They have separated faith in God from the business of their lives, which ought not to be so. Many in the Church perceive faith as an instrument only to be used within the scope of religious matters, and not in life. But the Word tells us that through faith, we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, and that the things which are seen were not made of things which do appear (Hebrews 11:3). We are in a world made by faith – the whole world with the fullness thereof was made by faith and is governed by faith. Faith is relevant to and germane to everything God has made – commerce, business, academics, career, family, marriage, etc. the just shall live by faith.
You must be strategic with your faith because it takes faith to please God and to do the will of God on the earth. We see an example of strategic faith in the life of the woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5, the Amplified Bible tells us in verse 28 that she kept saying to herself “if only I touch His garment, I shall be restored to health.” That means she had a plan and a desire to be whole of her plague. Her plan of action was to keep saying God’s Word to herself until she could finally touch Jesus’ garment. She kept her confession running and active until she touched the Master’s garment. She was strategic with her faith; she used it as an instrument to achieve a defined goal – her healing. You too ought to be strategic with your faith. 2 Corinthians 5:7 tells us that we walk by faith and not by sight. Romans 1:17 also says that the just shall live by faith. This means that faith is not something we use for just a moment; rather it is a walk and a life-long thing. This means, whatever you want to see in the next ten or twenty years, you can begin to plant the seeds right now by speaking God’s Word that has been revealed to your spirit and, say it over and over in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
My Solid Front (Confession):
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I am strategic with my faith; I use my faith, not only for the short term but for the long term. I declare that the path ahead of me is straight, not crooked because my faith in God produces the right results. Amen.
