9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Abraham is a template; he is more than an individual. In Genesis 12, God said that in Abraham and His seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. That by itself makes him a template, a seed, an example, a pattern of blessing. Isaiah 51:1-2 tells everyone who seeks the Lord and follows after righteousness to look to Abraham. By his walk with God, he has become a kingdom pattern and template to follow. Always, transformation, encounter, blessing, and impartation are at the point of believing God. When we believe, we receive. What grace has given; faith alone takes. Abraham became blessed when he believed God. The promises of God were not his until he believed them. When God called him to come out of his country and from his relatives to a place that He would show him, he believed and stepped out in faith. Faith in God was Abraham’s turning point. Indeed, when we believe, we receive.
Our opening Scripture reveals that everyone who is of faith is blessed with believing Abraham. Abraham is a template of faith and blessing to the whole world. Everyone who believes like he did, is blessed with him. Blessed with all God blessed him with. Genesis 15:6 tells us that God blessed Abraham with righteousness when he believed in Him. It says, “And he believed in the Lord; and he counted it to him for righteousness”. In the same vein, everyone who believes in Jesus is justified or declared righteous by God, like Abraham was justified. God gives the gift of righteousness on account of faith. Righteousness or justification is a gift from God given unto all that believe in Jesus Christ as the risen Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:21 tells us that God made Jesus Christ sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. By faith in Christ Jesus, you are justified from every guilt, condemnation, sin, and sin consciousness. Understand that faith is a persuasion of the heart that comes by the revelation of the Word backed up with a corresponding action. When you believe in the risen Christ, you become a brand-new creature (2 Corinthians 5:17); and your life becomes new, everything around you become new also. You then begin to live out the new life; you then begin to walk in newness of life. You can only walk in the newness of life when you have become a new creature. You bear the fruits of righteousness because you have become the righteousness of God in Christ through faith in God.
My Solid Front (Confession):
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I declare that I am blessed with faithful Abraham; I walk in the fulness of the Christ-life within me. I walk in the manifestation of the blessing of Abraham. I am justified from guilt and condemnation. Nothing successfully stands in my way of blessing. I am blessed to be a blessing. Amen.
