4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
The Word is the healer today. We are healed and restored to soundness and vitality by the Word. Many of God’s children think healing is a difficult thing to receive. No, it is not. Healing is children’s bread. If you are God’s child, healing is rightfully yours to take, to receive, and to enjoy. In Mark 7:25-27, Jesus while addressing that Greek woman, a Syrophenician by nation, referred to healing as children’s bread, which means that healing is children’s right, or portion, or allotment. It’s your portion in Christ to be healed, as a child of God. You are not supposed to be sick, beggarly, and weak. The Word has made perfect, rounded, and complete provision for your healing. When you know what the Word says about your healing, the healing and health provisions that God has made available for you in Christ, and you act upon that knowledge, you will be healed instantly. The Word is our healer today. When we receive and believe the Word of God about our healing, it then becomes life to us and medicine to all our flesh (Proverbs 4:20-22).
Isaiah 53:4-5 tells us in clear terms what the Lord Jesus Christ, our Substitute, did for us in His substitutionary work at Calvary. It tells us with naked certainty that Jesus Christ has borne our griefs (our sicknesses and diseases and weaknesses) and carried, far away from us, our sorrows (pains of the soul and body). Jesus Christ was wounded for our transgression, and was bruised for our iniquities, and the chastisement required to give us peace (wholeness, prosperity, safety, and completeness) was upon Him, and that with His stripes we are healed. Nothing can be truer than this eternal and everlasting reality. When you know this like the back of your hand, you will live in health the rest of your life. Healing streams flow from the Word. The Word is life-giving and powerful. When you learn this truth, and act upon it, like you would act on the prescriptions of a doctor, and you would the legal counsel of a lawyer, you will live in abundant and luxurious health your entire life. Learn the Word about your healing, receive it, believe it, and act upon it. Healing will always be the result of acting on the Word. Hallelujah!!!
My Solid Front (Confession):
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I declare that I am the healed of the Lord, and that by the stripes that wounded my Lord, I am healed. I refuse sickness and poverty. I embrace healing, health, and prosperity in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
