14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.
4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
Someone may ask, “Is it possible to live victoriously at all times?” Well, the answer is an emphatic “Yes!” The opening Scripture tells us that living victoriously always is possible and a reality in Christ. In fact, God’s desire for you is that you live victoriously all the time. In other words, the victorious life is God’s will for you. Our Father is the King of kings and Lord of lords, and we reign with Him. Note that He is not King of subjects and Lord of slaves, but King of kings and Lord of lords. Wait a minute and ask, who are the kings that He is King of, and who are the lords that He is Lord over? 1 Peter 2:9 tells us that we are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood (a kingdom of priests; kings and priests), a holy nation, a peculiar people. Hallelujah! Revelation 5:10 tells us that God has made us kings and priests unto Himself and we shall reign with Him on the earth. That must be in your Bible, or it is not a complete Bible. According to God’s design and purpose for man in the beginning, He made us in His image and in His likeness to have dominion over all the earth. We are not slaves to be subjugated; we are kings. We are children of the Most High God born to rule and reign with Christ our Lord, in this present world and in the world to come. That’s your destiny, child of God! Wake up and live up to it! Let the giant in you rise to his full potential in Jesus’ Name!
In 1 John 5:4, the Bible says, “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” What faith is the Bible referring to here? The faith we reposed in Christ Jesus when we got born again. That’s the faith that overcomes the world. That’s the overcoming faith. So, every Christian is an overcomer. In Christ, you have overcome the world and everything of the world order. You have overcome the devil and all his demons; you have overcome sin and all its consequences. The victory is all yours in Christ. You need not suffer failure and defeat in life. You need not be molested and devastated by the devil. Now, you have the upper hand, and you reign with Christ over and above all the works of darkness. Now, accept your mandate of dominion; accept your destiny of kingship. You are a ruler; that’s the clan to which you belong – aristocratic dynasty.
My Solid Front (Confession):
I am victorious in Christ Jesus and I experience victory always. I refuse to cave into circumstances and situations that are not in line with God’s best for my life. I am always on top and never beneath. I am a winner always! Hallelujah!
