6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
When God the Father is often described in the Bible in His reign and endless dominion, He is described as the One who sits upon the throne (Rev 5:13; 7:10; 21:5). Seating position connotes rest (Ps 110:1). It also connotes an unperturbed reign and endless dominion (Rev 5:13). Therefore, to seat with Christ who is enthroned as King of kings and Lord of lords simply means that we have taken rest in His rest, and that we reign with Him in His unperturbed reign and endless dominion. We are seated with Christ in heavenly places, far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. That’s how highly placed we are in Christ. That’s our true spiritual position of authority and influence with and in Christ. Therefore, it is needless to be afraid of Satan and his demons. There is no legitimate reason to be afraid of the authority of darkness when you occupy such a position of authority and influence with Christ. Your fear of Satan and of evil is unfounded.
When you got born again, you were delivered from the authority of darkness and became translated into the kingdom of Jesus Christ, the Son of God’s love. The devil lost the right over you, to oppress you, to afflict you, to hinder you. You have been delivered from the authority of Satan; he no longer has the power to oppress you (Col.1:13-14). You are now free from Satan’s oppression. Hallelujah!!! You are not in the “running” position anymore. You are now in the seating position with and in Christ. As a believer, as a child of God, God has given you the right to use the Name of Jesus to cast out devils, heal the sick, raise the dead, deliver the oppressed from Satan’s claws. You are seated with Christ in heavenly places far above all powers of darkness. If God be for you, who can be against you? Now that you are seated with Christ in heavenly realms, who can unseat you in this world or in the world to come? Now, take your place in faith and refuse to cave in to the devil’s pressure. Be bold and walk in the light of your true position in Christ. You are seated with Christ. Amen!!!
MY SOLID FRONT (YOUR CONFESSION):
In the Name of Jesus Christ, I declare that I am seated with Christ in heavenly places, far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. In union with Christ, I am indomitable and unconquerable! Amen.
