17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Christianity is relationship with God, not an empty religion of creeds and vain devotion. God’s utmost goal and purpose of Christianity is fellowship with Him based on relationship. The essence of Christianity is the union of man with God in unbroken fellowship, and in this fellowship is the real Christian life. God’s pulsating life in man, giving the essence of character and behaviour is the real Christian life. All the processes of preparation by which a soul is prepared by God for such a manifestation of the real Christian life are only preliminary processes. The final end of the processes of preparation is that man may reveal God, and that God may not only have a place of residence in man, but also a right of action in the body and spirit of man. Every Holy Spirit-taught man in the world is aware of how gradually his nature or being has become subjected to God and His will.
God’s purpose in us is to bring all the conditions of our being into harmony with His will and His mind. God’s purpose is not to make us robots: He has a higher purpose. God’s highest and best for us is to bring out all the qualities of God in your soul; to bring out the individuality that’s in your life, not to submerge or destroy it but to change, energize, and enlarge it, until all your individuality and personality are of the nature and substance of God. It is important to note that God does not eliminate man’s personality. God’s greatest desire with you is to bring out the real man in the image of Christ, the real man with the knowledge of God; that real man renewed until his very substance is the substance of God. The real man with God’s substance is the only way in which Christ Jesus Himself, or God the eternal Father can ever achieve oneness or unity with man. When one stops to analyse the fact, we see that God is trying to make us in all our nature and being and habits and thoughts, in all the structure of our life, just as beautiful, just as real, just as clear-minded and strong as Jesus Christ Himself. Hallelujah!!!
MY SOLID FRONT (YOUR CONFESSION):
In the Name of Jesus Christ, I declare that I am a real Christian with the pulsating life of God in me. I walk, talk, act and move just as clear and as powerful as Jesus Christ Himself. Amen.
