So Jesus said to them, “Because of your [a]unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.
Jesus said to him, “If [a] you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
In today’s opening verse in Matthew 17:20, Jesus Christ shocked His disciples when He said unto them, “…. If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say unto this mountain, remove from here to there, and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” Jesus Christ revealed to them the power of faith in God. There is nothing impossible to faith in God. He told them, “…. Nothing shall be impossible unto you, if you believe.” That’s still true today. What Jesus said to His disciples was not a dispensational statement. It was an eternal statement of truth that’s timeless. It is only by faith that nothing shall be impossible unto you. The Lord Jesus in Mark 9:23 said to the man whose son was being tormented by a devil “If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believes.” How many things are possible to him that believes? The Word says, all things. ‘All things’ means all things with nothing excluded. When you step into the arena of faith, you are in the arena of all possibilities. Understand that nothing is impossible to faith. When faith in God is absolute, the impossible becomes possible; the irreversible becomes reversible and stubborn situations give way to the power of God.
According to Matthew 17:20, Jesus said to His disciples “…and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” Nothing shall be impossible unto you! That’s what Jesus said! Those words came from the mouth of the Master Himself; the One who is called the Way, the Truth and the Life. When you begin to operate in the realm of faith, you have begun to operate in the realm where there is no impossibility to you anymore. Hebrews 11:33-35 shows us the exploits that the men of faith accomplished by faith. “…through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection…” So, there’s a lot we can accomplish by faith. So much! Now, learn to put your faith to work. How? Receive the Word into your heart, believe it, and act in line with the Word. Refuse to let anything dissuade you from thinking, talking and acting in line with the Word, and your faith will produce awesome results. Hallelujah!
My Solid Front (Confession):
I declare in the Name of Jesus, that I accomplish great and impossible feats by my faith in God. I give diligent attention to cultivating and developing my faith; therefore, I live and walk in the realm of the supernatural where all things are possible to me. Amen!
