19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not [a]imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.
15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
17 And these signs will follow those who [a]believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;
18 they[b] will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
The utmost reason Jesus came is to seek and to save the lost, and bring them into fellowship with the Father, through the preaching of the Gospel. When Jesus walked the face of the earth, He preached the kingdom of God by saying, “Repent! For the kingdom of God is at hand.” When He was done with His earthly ministry, He left the same message of the kingdom of God with us His disciples. Hebrews 2:3-4 tells us “How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with diverse miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will.” This Gospel of God’s love for humanity, the kingdom of God reigning in man’s heart through Jesus Christ, was first preached by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and it is confirmed unto us by His core disciples or apostles. We have been mandated by the Lord to preach the Gospel to all nations of the world. This is our mandate, to tell the untold, and bless the world with God’s love through the message of Christ’s substitutionary work for man.
The preaching of the Gospel is important because faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God preached to the world (Romans 10:13-17). Whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved. How shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard, and how shall they hear without a preacher; and how shall they preach except they are sent with the Gospel? For how beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Gospel! God has called and sent us to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. We have been commissioned and anointed to tell the good news of Jesus Christ’s substitutionary and finished work for humanity. God is sending you to reach the unreached, the unchurched, the lost, the world and everyone else who is hopeless and God-thirsty. We must preach the Gospel to the world. We cannot keep quiet. This Gospel is too good not to be preached! We have the Word and ministry of reconciliation. It is time to step out in faith and tell somebody about the love of Jesus!
My Solid Front (Confession):
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the noble privilege to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I declare that I preach the Gospel and win souls for the Lord to the ends of the earth. Amen.
