But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
By faith we understand that the [a]worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
Not every move is the move you need to break through and get into the next level of God’s plan for you, but a faith move is. That’s the move that produces results. God always wants us to make a faith move. What’s a faith move? How do you make a faith move? A faith move is acting from faith, doing things from faith. Remember the woman with the issue of blood. She had faith to be healed; she had heard of Jesus and said to herself within her heart, “If I can touch the helm of his garment, I shall be made whole”. The Amplified version says, “she kept saying to herself, if I only can touch the helm of his garment, I shall be restored to health”, and she made a faith move. She came behind the press and touched Jesus’ garment; the Word says, immediately she felt in her body that the issue of blood had dried up. Jesus then said unto her, “Daughter, thy faith has made thee whole.” Evidently, it was her faith that made her whole. How? She heard of Jesus’ healing ministry, she believed it was her turn to get healed of her plague and kept saying to herself in faith that she would be made whole when she touched Jesus’ garment; and made a faith move towards Jesus to touch His garment by her action, and the rest is history.
Many times, people act but not from faith; that’s not a faith move. Acting from wishes or assumption is not a faith move. The woman with the issue of blood acted from conviction of what she had heard of Jesus’ healing power, and her faith or confidence was reposed in God’s power at work in Jesus to heal her. Her action was born of faith in God. However, she did not only believe that if she touched Jesus’ garment she would be healed. The faith move was in her coming to touch Jesus’ garment. When you act from the revelation of the Word that you have heard, believed, and received, you are acting from faith. That’s making a faith move. Make a faith move today as to your business, career, family, finances, health, academics, etc. Do something in line with what your faith requires. Go in the direction of your faith while you maintain your confidence in God as you keep saying what you believe.
My Solid Front (Confession):
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I declare that I am of faith, and therefore make a faith move, acting on the Word. I make real progress and my profiting is evident to all. Amen.
