For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—[a]our faith.
God has a plan and a purpose for your life. You are not a creature of accident; you are a creature of purpose. Acts 15:18 tells us that God knew all His works from the beginning or foundation of the world, which means that He has made all things ready for us before the foundation of the world. Everything that you will ever need in your life was prepared before the foundation of the world. This is what the Word tells us in Ephesians 1:3, which says that God has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. God is not trying to prepare a future for you; He has already prepared it. You were carefully thought of and planned for before you were born. Having been blessed with all spiritual blessings in Christ, you need to understand how to receive from God. You need to know how to translate all the spiritual blessings that you have been blessed with into physical terms that can be used in this physical world. You have to learn how to position yourself to receive everything that God has prepared for you in Christ. How then do you position yourself to receive from God? Faith is the way to receive from God.
The subject of faith is very important in receiving from God. In Mark 11:24, the Lord Jesus reveals the secret of receiving answers to prayers. It says, whatsoever we desire when we pray, we should believe that we receive them, and we shall have them. Praying without faith is like playing games just for the fun of it. Praying in faith makes prayer worthwhile and produces results. Therefore, it is important to understand what faith is and how it works. In understanding faith, you need to know the basics of faith – the ABC of faith. In the ABC of faith, there are basically five things that you need to understand: First, the importance of faith; second, the biblical definition of faith; third, how faith comes; fourth, how faith works; and fifth, how faith is released. Understanding these five things makes for a good grasp of the subject of faith. Faith is the only way to live a victorious life; for whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world, and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.
MY SOLID FRONT (YOUR CONFESSION):
I declare that I come into a good understanding of the subject of faith in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I am rightly positioned to receive everything that God has prepared for me in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
