1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, [a]we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
Faith is the entry point into the grace of God. Romans 4:16 tells us, “Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed…” If it is not of faith, it cannot be by grace. Faith is the sure way or access to grace. When faith calls, grace answers. When faith demands, grace supplies. God is the God of all grace; the Scripture shows us that it is by faith that we have access to His grace. Again, Ephesians 2:8 tells us that it is by grace through faith that we are saved “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God…” Faith in God through Jesus Christ is the only access or way to God’s saving grace; there is no other access. Our opening verse reiterates this truth by saying that we are justified by faith and as a result, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ; and that by faith, we have access into the grace of God wherein we stand. Evidently and undoubtedly, faith is God’s ordained and prescribed doorway to grace.
God will bypass millions of people to get across to someone who truly believes Him. When you believe God the Bible way, God’s grace attends to you according to your faith. God is no respecter of persons. Grace always attends to you in the measure that you believe God for it. The grace of God opens at the knock of faith. When your faith increases, you increase in grace. 2 Peter 1:2 says, “Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord.” Now, we understand that faith begins at the point of the knowledge of God; at that point where the knowledge of God comes on a particular matter, the grace of God is poured out in that same area of life. A life of faith is that of grace; and as we go from faith to faith, we also go from grace to grace. Grace always abounds unto everyone who walks by faith. The just shall live by faith; therefore, the life of the just is that of grace, every one step of the way. Hallelujah! Live by faith; hear the Word, receive it, believe it, and act on it! That’s how to live by faith!
My Solid Front (Confession):
I declare that I have unhindered access to the grace of God by my faith in the Word of God. I declare that I walk in greater realms of the grace of God as my faith increases through the increase in the knowledge of God. Amen!!!
