For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.
23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
Words are powerful. Words are much more than a means of communication; they are vehicles and containers, carrying realities. Your words are an expression of your character and faith, and your faith is what determines your experiences in life. Therefore, God wants you to use your words correctly. Genesis 1:26 tells us that God made man in His image, and after His likeness; and all through the Scripture, we see that God is a speaking Spirit, speaking of Himself, speaking of man, and speaking of things. So, when God made man in His image, He made man another speaking spirit like Himself. God controls everything by His Word; He upholds all things by the Word of His power (Hebrews 1:3). You, too, ought to control and uphold all things in your life by your words, spoken from the substance of God’s Word. So, you must learn to use your words like God to promote your life, and to propel yourself forward. This is what the principle of confession is all about. You are not meant to live at the mercy of circumstances. No, a thousand times, no! You are meant to rule and govern your life by your own words, spoken from the substance of God’s Word in your spirit.
From our opening Scripture, the Bible tells us that it is with the heart that we believe unto righteousness (alignment with God); and it is with the mouth that confession is made unto salvation (physical manifestation of that which we have believed). So, the mouth is very key to the fulfillment of everything that God has said to you. Your mouth is very key to the physical manifestation of what you believe. God, in the beginning, said “Light be!” and light came into being. We see clearly that God set the order and precedence for us, so that we can use our mouth to create our own realities. Beloved, speak life today into that situation, no matter how dead it is. Speak promotion no matter how backward your life has been so far. Speak progress, speak success, and you will have what you say. Begin to say, in the Name of Jesus I make progress. Irrespective of what is happening around you, your mouth will set the course of nature and your mouth will determine your outcome in life. What you say is what matters, not what is happening. The words of your mouth will create the realities of your life.
MY SOLID FRONT (Confession):
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I take my place as a speaking spirit indeed. I am what God says I am, I can do what God says I can do, and I have what God says I have.
