There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who[a] do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption
Justification is freedom from guilt, condemnation, and the judgment of sin. Sin is a deviation from God’s normal or order; sin is disorderliness. The moment anyone reposes faith in Jesus Christ, he is justified from guilt, condemnation, and judgement of sin. Condemnation is the root of unworthiness. It breeds a sense of inferiority and inadequacy. The Word tells us in the opening verse that there is no condemnation for us in Christ Jesus. Why? The Word tells us that the system of condemnation under the Law has ceased to take effect on us Christians, who walk not after the dictates of the flesh or our senses, but after the dictates of our born-again spirit by the Holy Spirit. Nothings robs the believer of grace, favour, and all that Christ’s death and resurrection has made available like condemnation. Condemnation is a monster that breathes death and outright separation of man from God. It makes God unapproachable. It denies the believer of every right to receive from God. Condemnation is a plague. But thank God we have been delivered from condemnation in Christ Jesus through the free gift of justification by faith!
Romans 8:1 says, “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” The moment you reposed your faith in Jesus Christ, you came into rightness with God. That means that you came into the place where God could work in you everything that He wants to do in your life. No, you are not perfect yet; but you are accepted in the beloved. You have acceptance with God, no matter what. The devil cannot accuse you successfully anymore. There is no charge against you anymore. Hallelujah! So, there’s no guilt anymore; there’s no condemnation anymore. You don’t feel condemned for the wrong things you once did in time past, about which you have repented. Understand that the blood of Jesus has cleansed and remitted all your sins. There is no guilt, no shame, and no condemnation anymore. That’s what it means to come into rightness with God. You stand before God without any sense of judgment, guilt or condemnation. You stand before God, not in your own strength, not in your own righteousness, but in His own righteousness because you have faith in Him. Praise the Lord!
MY SOLID FRONT (YOUR CONFESSION)
I declare that I have justification by faith in Jesus. I am in perfect alignment with God’s rightness. I am free from guilt; I am free from condemnation; I am free from the judgment of sin. There is no condemnation to me anymore. Amen.
