And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
Light simply means to experience something or somebody; it is having intimate knowledge of something or somebody. Light is experience, and experience is light. Experience is personal light; it is light that has come home to you; it is light as you know and understand it.
There is a kind of knowledge where you know something, but that which you know doesn’t really know you. That kind of knowledge is acquired knowledge but not proven knowledge; you have such knowledge but haven’t proved it yet. You have passed through such knowledge, but it hasn’t passed through you yet.
This simply means that you know something but cannot make the most of it because you have not yet experienced it. Until you experience what you know, it cannot change you. Experience drives transformation. A man may be vast in knowledge, however, if he lacks the experience of it, his knowledge cannot save him.
When the Bible speaks of certain things that we have been blessed with, these things are available in Christ, and they have our names on them but that doesn’t mean that you have entered the experience of them yet.
You must know about them and apply yourself to them to experience them. For example, salvation is for all. Jesus paid the full price for all men to be saved. So legally, the price has been fully paid and as such, salvation is available to all, but until a man receives the Word of God, confesses Jesus as the Lord of his life, believing that God has raised Him from the dead, he cannot experience salvation.
Although salvation is his legally, yet the man cannot experience it because he has not yet come into that place of light called experience. Also, prosperity is ours in Christ, so we have wealth in Christ, but it is not every believer that has already entered the experience of prosperity. Same with healing. Healing is ours in Christ (1Peter 2:24). But there are still a lot of believers who are sick in their bodies.
The experience of that healing is not there yet, for they have not entered that dimension of light. If you see a man interacting with light at the level of experience, that is maturity. Experience is what God wants us to enter regarding the knowledge of the Word. How? Acting on the Word, being a doer of the Word; that’s how to experience the Word.
SOLID FRONT (YOUR CONFESSION):
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I am a doer of the Word. I have the experience of the Word; the light of the Word shines brighter and brighter in me. Amen. Hallelujah!
