17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
The believer’s faith and God’s Word are inseparable; they are organically related in chemistry with each other. When the revelation of the Word grows in you, your faith grows also. Faith comes by hearing the Word and it gets stronger as it comes in fellowship with the Word of God. Our opening Scripture reveals that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. This is why it is of uttermost importance to keep hearing God’s Word that your faith may stay alive in God. God’s faith is in His Word, therefore when God speaks, the Word of faith is released and when the believer hears the Word, faith is activated in the Word. As long as you keep hearing God’s Word, you cannot run out of faith. Faith to hold on to all that God has promised you comes by hearing the Word. To hear God, you must come into fellowship with Him in personal devotion and study of the Word. When you meditate in the Word, the Word feeds your spirit, and your faith is fed and strengthened. The moment light breaks forth within you regarding the Word, your faith skyrockets.
In Genesis 1, God created the heavens and the earth by His Word. Hebrews 11:3 says, “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” Everything God spoke into existence had been in spiritual form in Him. He spoke them into existence, and God saw all that He had said. Do you know as a believer, you can have what you say come to pass based on the integrity of God’s Word? Your words become powerful when you feed your faith with the Word; you will begin to speak from the abundance of the Word in your spirit! Don’t joke with feeding your faith! Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly! Then go ahead and say what God has said concerning you, not your situation or circumstance. Faith doesn’t deny facts; however, faith does not take its reference from facts; faith believes in the Word absolutely. A man of faith will take the Word as his present hour reality. As you stay with the Word, the image and substance of the Word are formed in your inner being, then you will begin to call forth the things that are not physically as though they had been. Fill your lips with the Word and your experience will align with your reality – the reality of the Word in your spirit.
My Solid Front (Confession):
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I feed my faith with the Word! I give myself to meditation in the Word. I declare that the substance and image of the Word are formed in me, in Jesus’ Name!
