4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
The presence of God is the most precious asset in heaven and earth; it is so priceless and invaluable because it carries the fullness of God. God’s presence is the manifestation of God, it is all that He has and is. When God is made manifest, heaven and all its pleasant glories are revealed. Heaven is what it is today just because of the presence of God there. Heavenly bliss is revealed everywhere the presence of God is made manifest. When God made man in the beginning and planted a garden east of Eden, and placed him there, everything he needed was there for him to enjoy because of the presence or the glory of God with him. The Garden of Eden was a place of pleasure for man because of the presence of God there. God’s presence is the most valuable asset on earth today. All we can ever dream of or desire is in the presence of God. The Word tells us in Psalms 16:11 that “Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore”. All the pleasures to enjoy in time and in the world to come are in the presence of God; there is fulness of joy in His presence. Hallelujah!
God’s presence is everywhere, but not made manifest everywhere. The Word tells us in John 14:21 “He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth, and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him”. The Lord speaks of manifesting Himself to those who love Him, those who have His commandments and keep them. The manifestation of the presence of God is unto those who honour Him; those who revere Him. In our opening Scripture, the Word admonishes us to enter God’s gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. This is the protocol of His presence. Entering His manifest presence begins at the point of thanksgiving, praise, and appreciation in love for Him. When you learn to honour the Lord in all that you do, He manifests Himself to you.
My Solid Front (Confession):
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I declare that I live in honour of God all the days of my life. I abound in thanksgiving and praise unto God daily; I demonstrate my love for Him by being a doer of the Word. Amen.
