But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
The Word of God is light; it has illuminating power. Psalms 119:105 tells us that the Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. Therefore, interacting with the Word is interacting with light. We all must learn to interact with the Word of God. Our opening Scripture tells us that man does not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. We live by the Word. The just shall live by faith, which comes by hearing the Word. In essence, we live by the Word. We ought to expose our minds and inner consciousness to the Word. When the Word gets into you, it gives light, for the entrance of God’s Word gives light and understanding to the simple. Interacting with light will cause a major shift in your life and move you forward into your destiny place. When light shines within you, darkness loses its grip on you and yours. Light is the only solution to the problem of darkness. Let the light of the Word shine in you; let it consume and overwhelm you. That’s the way it ought to be, for this is the true light that lights every man that comes into the world; and that true light is the light of the Word of God (John 1:9).
Meditating in the Word is how we interact with light. We expose our minds to the Word when we meditate in the Word. Meditation in the Word is important to let the Word gain entrance into our hearts. It is the entrance of the Word that gives light (Psalms 119:130). Light is only produced within us when the Word gains entrance into us. Meditation is the art of exposing the inner being to truth, realities, facts, thoughts to the end that the heart may gain wisdom. Joshua 1:8 tells us that meditation begins with confession – confessing the Word. When we confess the Word to ourselves, it trickles down into our inner consciousness, and thoughts of the Word begin to overwhelm us. We will then begin to see with the eyes of the heart what the Lord is showing us. The image of the glory of God is formed within us, which the Spirit of God can work with, in transforming us from glory to glory. Hallelujah!!! When you put the Word first and give earnest heed to it, you become one with the Word, and the Word becomes a vital part of your life. That’s what life is and how to live it to the full.
My Solid Front (Confession):
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I am ruled by the Word, and I meditate in the Word daily, and as I do, light breaks forth within me for exploits. Hallelujah!!!
