1 - The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners
2 - to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,
3 - and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.
4 - They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations.
The Lord said, “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them.
The opening Scripture is such an awesome one! It speaks of the messianic prophecy of Jesus Christ, the Anointed One, fulfilling His ministry as the Christ. Verse 4 of that Scripture is very remarkable, it says, “And they shall build the old waste…” speaking of infrastructure. Now, just as there is physical infrastructure, there is mental infrastructure. Sadly, the mental infrastructure of many is broken down and in need of renovation and complete overhaul. Why? They have over time given themselves to vain imagination, and by such have a poor habit or attitude of the mind that repels great things; thoughts inconsistent with success and with the Word. Such thoughts cannot make for progress and development. We ought to build or develop mental infrastructure for the heights and depths the Lord is taking us. Mental infrastructure is important for success in life. Successful people think differently; they have massive mental infrastructure. They have developed and worked on their minds, they have broadened the scope of it.
If you look at any economy, what makes for success is the level of development of infrastructure. Infrastructure is a factor of production, a factor of success; and that’s why you must build mental infrastructure. What does that mean? It means that you must imbibe a mental culture of excellence and productivity. You must frame your thinking for success. The right mental infrastructure will enable you to think the right thoughts and allow thoughts of possibilities to rule and reign in your heart that you might fulfil your God-given destiny. In Genesis 11:6 the Word tells us, “And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.” Nothing was withheld from them which they have imagined doing. Beloved, give attention to building your mind. Do you want to succeed so greatly? Work on your mind. You must renovate or build the old waste in your mind by meditating on the Word and living by it. With a massive mental infrastructure, you will be able to see possibilities with the eyes of your spirit through your mind, and you will receive the Word of God the way you ought to. Give attention to the Word and let the Spirit of God breathe upon your mind through the Word of God, as you build new infrastructures in your mind.
MY SOLID FRONT (YOUR CONFESSION):
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I give room to the Holy Spirit to build new infrastructures in my mind as I give attention to the Word in careful meditation, and as I pray in other tongues. I guard my heart with all diligence, refusing to allow the wrong thoughts any room in me; therefore, I boldly say that success is mine in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
