5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
14 Know also that wisdom is like honey for you:
If you find it, there is a future hope for you,
and your hope will not be cut off.
Expectation is the current that sweeps things into your life. God wants us to have good expectations of the things that He has promised us. Biblical faith is characterized by a strong wave or current of expectation that is based on the Word. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Expectation emanating from the substance or the evidence of faith in your heart connects with the physical mate of the things that you are in faith for. It is scriptural to have a strong expectation to see God’s Word leap into being for you, for the Word tells us that the expectation of the righteous shall not be cut off. Surely there is an end, and the expectation of the just shall not be cut off, which means that you will not be disappointed. God has called and appointed you unto glory and virtue. You will never be ashamed. Stir up the flames of expectation in you. Live and bask in the warmth of expectation to see all that God has said to you come to pass. God is faithful, He will not deny Himself. What He has promised you, He will perform. He will fulfill His Word in your life. Be rest assured that it is your time to enter into all that God’s mouth has spoken concerning you. This is your hour, and this is your prophetic moment. The earth has heard God’s Word spoken concerning you and must produce for you that which He has commanded. Beloved, be full of expectation! Refuse to be deflated! Refuse to let hopelessness take a hold of you! God has spoken to you, and you have every right to expect Him to perform what He has spoken concerning you.
Hope does not make ashamed, because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Hope or faith expectation, in this context, is so vital for the fulfilment of God’s Word in your life. Remember, a living dog is better than a dead lion. Hope is the difference between them.
My Solid Front (Confession):
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I declare that my hope is anchored on God’s Word. My God is faithful; therefore, I shall not be ashamed or disappointed. I am full of faith expectation, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
