Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality.
11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”
12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Today’s opening verse tells us unequivocally that God is no respecter of persons. This means that what God does for one, He will do for another under the same circumstances or conditions. If you meet the requirement of the Word, God will fulfil it to you. There is no difference between Jews and Gentiles, for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon His Name. It gladdens the heart to know that God is no respecter of persons. So, if a man has succeeded by applying the principles of the Word of God, others can succeed too by doing the same. Everyone can succeed. Everyone! Listen beloved, to become a success that you have been created by God to be, it is imperative to have a purpose from which you cannot be swerved. Your eyes must be single on your God-given purpose. You must be clear about your purpose, be content with it, and be consistent with it.
The fear of failure hangs like a dark cloud over many lives; they doubt that they can and will succeed. Mostly, people who fail in life fail in someone else’s field, not in their own. Most failures struggle to be someone else, to do someone else’s assignment, to develop someone else’s resources and not theirs. We may not be great in other people’s field in life, but we can in ours. It is true that success belongs to everyone of us. It is necessary that we make the right choice, find out what our talents and abilities are, and have them properly trained and fitted to achieve the desired end. You must have the right kind of companionship, the right kind of enabling environment, to be able to succeed in life. Understand the place of eternal life and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit within you. You cannot fail with God in you, no! Now that you have been stimulated and inspired to succeed in life, what are you going to do with your life and with your time? Now, go to work and make life worthwhile!
MY SOLID FRONT (YOUR CONFESSION):
In the Name of Jesus Christ, I declare that I am a success. God is no respecter of persons; therefore, I refuse to see those who have succeeded or are succeeding in life as supermen. I am God’s child and I have what it takes to succeed also. I give myself to the Word of God regarding success, and I succeed greatly to the praise of my God! Amen.
