(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.
Our opening Scripture tells us that God calls the things that are non-existent like they already are. That’s amazing, isn’t it? To call what is what it is, is sight; but to call the things that be not as though they were, is faith. God’s faith calls the things that are not as though they were. God’s creative power is manifested through His faith; He speaks the Word in faith, calling the things that are not as though they were. When God spoke to Abraham and said, I have made you a father of many nations, He was calling the things that were non-existent like they already are. Abraham believed God, when He called the things that were non-existent as though they already were. Abraham agreed with God on His terms – the terms of faith. Abraham understood what God was saying to him; he was on the same page with God. Faith is God’s way of doing things; it is God’s way of creating realities. To call the things that be as though they were not is not faith. That’s denial of reality. Faith does not deny reality; it creates its own superior and greater realities over and above other existing ones. Just like the rod of Moses swallowed up the rods of the magicians of Egypt, the realities created by faith can swallow up other existing realities. Hallelujah! If you are sick in your body, faith does not deny that you are sick. Rather, faith creates a condition of healing that swallows up the condition of sickness. How? Faith calls things that are non-existent like they already are existent. So, you don’t say “I am not sick”; rather, you say “I AM HEALED”. Don’t say “I am not poor” but say “I am rich and blessed.” Did you get it?
Do you know that nature understands faith? What informed the water under Peter’s feet that he had started doubting and that it should not bear him up anymore? Nature knew that he had started doubting. Understand that nature recognizes and responds to both faith and fear accordingly. Recognize your right and power under God to change situations. Recognize that you are a child of God and you can speak the Word of God in faith to change your life and create your own world. When you speak in faith, you alter the course of nature. That’s what you do when you speak in faith, consistent with the Word. Declare what you require in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and see it come to pass for you. Create! Stop complaining! Create your heart desire by the Word. Speak the Word in faith! Do it now!
MY SOLID FRONT (YOUR CONFESSION):
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I recognize that I am a child of God, God’s image; therefore, I speak like my Father God speaks and I create my own world and its new realities by faith!
