5 Let the peoples praise You, O God; Let all the peoples praise You.
6 Then the earth shall [a]yield her increase; God, our own God, shall bless us.
7 God shall bless us, And all the ends of the earth shall fear Him.
Then out of them shall proceed thanksgiving And the voice of those who make merry; I will multiply them, and they shall not diminish; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.
Our opening Scripture reveals the desire of God for every believer. It says, “let the people praise thee O God, let all the people praise thee.” There is a command of praise which does not exclude anyone, both young and old, great, and small. In the congregation of the saints, everyone is expected to praise the Lord. God is fearful in praises, not fearful to hurt but fearful in His acts when He is praised. God does miracles that are in the class of God alone. He specializes in mouth-opening miracles that cannot be explained scientifically. He is the God that can change the status of a man who woke up as a tenant to become a landlord before the end of that same day. This is the God we serve; the Miracle working God. In the place of thanksgiving, we begin to experience the miraculous power and hand of God. Why? God is fearful, awesome, extraordinary in praise; He is glorious in holiness and fearful in praises, doing wonders (Exodus 15:11). Hallelujah! You don’t know how great God is until you begin to praise Him greatly! God is great and greatly to be praised.
Psalm 67: 6-7 shows us the kind of blessing that God has prepared for praisers. It speaks of the blessing that will make all the ends of the earth to fear God. Understand that the connector to fearful blessings is fearful praises. When you learn to praise God as a lifestyle, great things will begin to happen in your life. You’ll learn to give God praise unreservedly and generously, with cheerfulness. Jeremiah 30:19 says, “And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.” The key to multiplication and glorification is thanksgiving. Increase comes to you as you give thanks to the Lord. Promotion comes as you set your heart to giving God thanks from your heart. Magnification and significance come to us as we honour God with our thanksgiving. As you give thanks to God for who He is and what He has done for you, you are setting up yourself for greater exploits, greater increase and God will greatly multiply and glorify you. Have a fine resolve to continually give thanks unto God. Say like David, “I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth”. Hallelujah!
MY SOLID FRONT (YOUR CONFESSION):
Father, I thank You for Your Word is true. Thank You for showing me the key to multiplication and glorification. Today and always, I abound in thanksgiving and praise to you and my experience is multiplication and glorification in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
