For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. “Eat and drink!” he says to you, But his heart is not with you.
Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify[a] you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Thoughts are things in form of ideas. Just as things in the natural are treated as real and substantial, so should thoughts be treated. Your thoughts are very important to your life on the earth because they are an interface between the spiritual and the natural. If your thoughts are not processed correctly, there will be a huge gap between revelation as you have it in your spirit and manifestation as it ought to be in the physical realm. The mind is central to living a fulfilled life on this side of the divide – the natural realm. For you to have spiritual realities leap into being for you, you must be able to manage your mind well according to God’s Word. Therefore, it is important to think the right thoughts. From our opening Scripture, it is evident that your thought pattern shapes your life. The character of your mind shapes your personality. The Word says as you think in your heart, so are you. You are what you think of yourself. You cannot separate your personality from your thoughts, for they are a vital part of your personality. In fact, your personality is a sum of your thoughts. Your personality will be transformed when your thoughts are upgraded. When there is a paradigm shift in the way you think, your person is transformed.
Romans 12:2 tells us that we are changed or transformed by the renewing of our mind. Therefore, the mind is central to our transformation. That’s why it is important to train your mind, to mentor and govern your mind by the Word of God; for you are as good and pure as your thoughts. When you start thinking thoughts consistent with who you are, the image of God, you will be transformed into living life as such. Fulfilling your destiny therefore requires mind management. You must be able to manage your mind according to the Word of God. What does that mean? It simply means that you begin to think thoughts consistent with God’s purpose and plan for your life. Thoughts that are in line with who you are in Christ and what God has prepared for you in Him. Thoughts that are inconsistent with God’s will for you are not worthy of consideration or attention. Therefore, it is important that you choose your thoughts carefully because you will become your thoughts, by and large. What you’re thinking about right now, repeatedly, is shaping your life and shaping your outcome in life. So, it is important to choose your thoughts carefully.
MY SOLID FRONT:
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I have an enhanced mind. My mind is blessed and productive. I choose my thoughts carefully and think in line with who I am and what the Father has done for me in Christ. Amen.
