1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.
As a believer, you ought to know the joy of salvation in your life and also see it in the lives of others, whom God has helped you to lead to Christ. That joy will be in your heart when you look around and say, “Thank You Lord for using me to bring that person to You.” That ought to be your testimony, not just the testimonies of material blessings being added to you, but of the many souls you have shared the Gospel with and won over to the Lord. Beloved, understand that all that God has blessed you with is for a reason, which is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and win souls into God’s kingdom. How many people can you point at and say, “by the grace of God, I have been able to bring those people to Christ and they are still living for Christ till date.” Concerning the preaching of the Gospel and soul winning, every believer ought to be fruitful. We have been called unto the ministry of reconciliation; we have been called unto soul winning.
You just can’t sit down in church and keep enjoying the Word alone. God has been too good to you not to bear fruits of seeing others saved and established in the faith. You must go out and bring souls into the Kingdom of God. We are to reach out to unbelievers, the unsaved, and the unchurched with the Gospel of salvation. We are not supposed to be looking for Christians or existing church members to transfer from one Church to our Church. That’s church migration; it is not evangelism. There are enough souls out there in the fields to harvest for the Lord. Let’s go out there to bring souls into the kingdom. The very potent and effective ministry is the ministry that goes about meeting people and touching lives with the Word of grace. We ought to wake up to this noble assignment. We must recognize that peace in the society is a capital God has given us with which to preach the Gospel. God has given us peace in our community to the end that souls might be saved. Beloved, God wants you to take responsibility for the souls around you because they are actually your responsibility. Listen, the responsibility to evangelize your community is absolutely yours under God; for He has given you both the ministry and the Word of reconciliation – 2 Corinthians 5:19-20.
MY SOLID FRONT (YOUR CONFESSION):
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I declare that I am a soul winner. I am fruitful in soul winning. I bring many people into God’s Kingdom in Jesus’ Name!!!!
