1 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
12 He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption.
Eternal redemption is a divine buy back from sin and all its consequences, which is meant to be everlasting. From our opening Scripture, we understand that the Bible is very clear about the truth that the redemption that God has given to us is eternal. Now, since redemption is a divine buy-back from sin, all its consequences, and the devil’s power to steal, to kill and to destroy, we understand that it is eternal dominion over Satan and all his cohorts. So, the Bible says the strength of sin is the law and the sting of death is sin, and we’ve been delivered from sin; therefore, death has no power over us. Owing to the fact that our redemption is eternal, then our dominion over the devil, over sin, over death and everything that is called darkness is eternal. For the new man in Christ, you are not supposed to be enslaved by the wicked one anymore. You ought to stand in the liberty wherewith Christ has made you whole, free, and refuse to be entangled by sin or Satan. You ought to walk in the light of the truth of God’s Word and this is the correct response to what God has done for you in Christ Jesus.
You have been redeemed from sin’s and Satan’s hold. It is as simple as it sounds. Just as a bank credit alert is real to you, such that, after receiving the credit alert, though you’ve not been to the bank physically to confirm that the money is in your account, you are confident that you have the money. In the same vein, when you receive the revelation of the Word in your spirit, believe it as God’s witness in your heart of the truth of the Word. You take it as, “God has sent you an alert,” so to speak. God has sent you an alert through His Word that He has obtained for you an eternal redemption. This revelation should cause you to enter into praising and rejoicing mode. Why? That is your reality. Someone might want to ask, is it that easy? Is it so easy to believe that you have been delivered from everything called darkness, from wrong habits and chiefly, from the hold of the enemy? The question to ask is, is it easy to buy something worth $100 when you have $100,000 in your account? It is very easy, right? Yes, it is. The price has been paid. With that same confidence, you can say to the devil and his representatives, “you don’t have any power over me”. God has delivered you from Satan’s shackles and chains and in your best interest, take the Bible for what it says.
MY SOLID FRONT (YOUR CONFESSION):
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I declare that I have an eternal redemption in Christ; therefore, I declare that my dominion over sin, poverty, satan, fear, sickness is permanent and enduring. Amen!
