19 And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.
5 Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.
6 Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.
7 God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.
Our opening Scripture reveals God’s order of multiplication and glorification. It says as thanksgiving proceeds from our mouth, and the voice of merry making, the result is that God multiplies and glorifies us. Now, note the cause and effect in the opening Scripture. The cause: We give thanks and rejoice before God. The effect: God multiplies and glorifies us. Note what the Word does not say apart from what it says. God didn’t say I will multiply and glorify them and as a result, thanksgiving will proceed out of them. That is not what the Word says. What does it say? It says the voice of thanksgiving must proceed out of our mouth first and the voice of rejoicing, and God will multiply and glorify us. So, this is God’s way of multiplying His people – Thanksgiving! So, as thanksgiving and rejoicing come out of your heart, God causes His blessing to rest upon you mightily and you are multiplied and glorified. That means even at times when it doesn’t feel like you should give thanks to God, when it doesn’t feel like you should glorify God, when it doesn’t look like God has done anything for you or He is doing anything for you, and you desire multiplication in your life, the Word says the right thing to do is give thanks to God. It has nothing to do with your feelings, rather it has everything to do with your faith. You believe what God says to you and act it out by faith, and that’s it.
“And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry…,” which means that you will consciously and intentionally make merry by faith; for that is your action to take while multiplying and glorifying you is God’s action to take. Think about it this way, thanksgiving and rejoicing before God is more than a one-off action, but a lifestyle, so as to live in perpetual multiplication and glorification. Do you know that you can live a life of continuous multiplication? Yes, you can. Therefore, make gratitude to God and never murmuring a lifestyle! Multiplication here speaks of increase (number) while Glorification speaks of significance (impact, influence). So, choose to stay in rejoicing mode perpetually. You can set your life and that setting is on thanksgiving mode perpetually, no matter what is happening around you. This is the way to always go up and increase, world without end. Hallelujah!
MY SOLID FRONT (YOUR CONFESSION):
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I declare that my attitude towards God is that of gratitude and rejoicing perpetually; therefore, I increase perpetually! Amen!
