10b ...for the joy of the Lord is your strength.
22 A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
Joy gives strength. Our opening Scripture says a merry heart does good like medicine. Now, some people don’t know how to make merry, maybe because of their background, while others are just too serious or business-minded that they don’t know how to rejoice and to enjoy life. Some people don’t even know how to celebrate victories or breakthroughs anymore because they are not where they want to be yet. Beloved, do you know how to make merry? Listen, if your heart is not joyful, you may not get to your destination because it takes strength to get there, and the joy of the Lord is your strength. Have you experienced a breakthrough? Celebrate and give God thanks. Don’t wait; don’t make a pile of your gratitude. Appreciate God for every milestone you’ve achieved. Rejoice your way into the fullness of God for you! Let it be gratitude and rejoicing every step of the way. When last did you celebrate God’s goodness and gracious additions to you? Even your birthday? When are you going to celebrate? Is it until the rapture takes place or when you see the Lord in glory? Beloved, celebrate now! To celebrate does not mean you should get a megaphone and start making noise all around. Celebrate with people that love you and the people that you love; celebrate your victories. You can take your family members out just to celebrate God’s goodness to you.
Listen, learn to celebrate your victories per time. Don’t wait until you see the full manifestation of the Word to you before you start rejoicing. Remember, the just shall live by faith. Faith is our lifestyle, which means that we rejoice before the physical manifestation of what God has promised us. You take God by His Word. You rejoice and give thanks to God as a lifestyle. Understand that the joy of the Lord is your strength, and as you rejoice, your strength is renewed, and you can forge ahead powerfully into the destiny God has prepared for you. So, learn to celebrate! Tell of God’s love and goodness to you in songs, hymns, psalms and in melodies. God isn’t done with you yet; He is taking you upward and forward. Now, rejoice on your way there! That’s the sure way to get there!
MY SOLID FRONT (YOUR CONFESSION):
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I declare that the joy of the Lord is my strength! I walk the path of destiny, one step at a time, to my God-ordained destination, rejoicing and giving thanks unto God! Hallelujah!
